Jose Figueroa has trained with the “Sindicato de Entrenadores Profesionales” de Sao Paulo, Brazil, and has been using his past soccer experience providing a safe and supervised environment for children and youth who enjoy soccer in the community.

He believes that performance and attitude go hand-in-hand.  He is using soccer, the world’s most popular sport, to help youngsters to build self-confidence, gain new skills in soccer and improve sportsmanship skills.

With the desire to serve the community in Chile, Jose and Luz Figueroa are preparing to travel to Santiago, Chile for the month of January 2015, to provide the following:

Soccer Clinics: These are one-day programs for children ages 6 to 12 to be held in two different under privilege communities.  This is also an excellent opportunity to develop youth volunteers to serve.

Children’s Camp and Youth Camp:  Participate with soccer and sports activities in a children’s summer camp.

Parents’ Camps:   Speaking separately in a women’s and a men's camp with the desire to encourage the  mothers and the parents in their roles.

We invite you to be part of this great opportunity to invest in the children and youth in Chile.

Your support will help us in the following:

-          Funding for flight tickets

-          Food

-          Transportation

-          Equipment:  Soccer balls, training cones, training nets.

-          Children’s soccer cleats (shoes)

-          Sponsor kids to attend the camps
